Intervention Planning

The team enacted a schoolwide intervention to reteach the rules. With the entire school staff, the problem-solving team reviewed the procedures that the school staff needed to follow in order to implement the PBS plan, and encouraged all teachers to review their classroom rules and reteach the procedures in their classes.

Evaluation

The team reviewed their average ODRs per day for the months of January and February. They noticed the following:

January: 3.5 ODRs per day

February: 3.8 ODRs per day

The team believed the interventions were working, but planned a more intensive intervention involving an increase in the amount of precuing, more active supervision, and a more systematic review of the data to determine which students may have been most actively involved in these problematic behaviors.
